About Trans-Atlantic Commercial Insurance

I started my career in financial services. After earning my degree in Business Management from Virginia State University, I worked as a stockbroker and then as a banker. Those years taught me how businesses think about capital, cash flow, and risk, and how quickly one uninsured loss can undo years of hard work.

From there I moved into insurance, joining a large property and casualty insurance company as a District Sales Manager. For nine years I recruited and trained insurance agents, teaching them how to evaluate a client's risk, explain coverage in plain language, and be there when a claim happens. Working inside a large carrier gave me a close look at how insurance companies operate, and a clear view of what business owners should expect from the person who sells them a policy.
